Only One Weekend Left for "The Adventures of Santa Claus!"

"The Adventures of Santa Claus" combines some original material written by director Will Buros with some other Holiday fun to create a show that the whole family will love! 

 

Remaining performance dates are Friday 12/16 (7:30pm) and Saturday 12/17 (7:30pm) at the Richland County Performing Arts Center (RC City Auditorium).   


Tickets are not being sold for this show.  The community has been so supportive of CP's efforts the past few years that we wanted to give something back.  A free will offering will be taken for admission along with a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Richland Community Food Pantry.  Any proceeds from the show that exceed the costs of the production will be donated back to community organizations.

 

Parents are invited to bring their kids to the show early as Santa will be in the Lobby a half hour before show time along with Mrs. Santa Claus.  Bring your camera and get a picture of your child with Santa.

CP Alumnus Announces Blog

Mike Dalberg, currently studying theatre at UW-Parkside, has launched a new blog so that we can follow his progress.  One of his original works has been selected for production this spring at Parkside.  On his blog, Mike gives details of the coming show and shares other bits of his original works and continuing projects.  Mike was the recipient of the 2011 Corey Bobb Memorial Scholarship awarded by Community players.  We congratulate him on his continuing achievements!

Have you got talent?

If so, the Veterans Memorial Building Committee and Community Players want to help you share it!  The 4th annual Talent Showcase to raise money for the Veterans Memorial will be held on February 18, 2012 at 7:00pm.  The deadline for applications for the show is January 15, 2012.  For more information, check out their

A Summer Tease!

Our application for the rights for our Summer 2012 show has been submitted.  We should know by the end of the year if we are approved.  Hopefully we won't have to climb every mountain to bring the hills of Southestern Wisconsin alive with the sound of...  our summer show.  We'll announce things formally when the proprer approvals are in place.

Need a Christmas gift idea?  Community Players has DVDs of our record-breaking 2010 show "Peter Pan: The Musical" available.  The cost is $20 and they can be picked up from Bill Honer at Precision Auto in Richland Center.
