“The more you know, the more you know…”

Most everything is in place for “Annie.” People are marveling at the set, the singing, the acting, the dancing, the sound, the—EVERYTHING!  Kudos to all the many people involved onstage, backstage and off stage.  Your hard work really pays off.  Our well deserved reputation for staging quality summer productions grows and grows.  After the show, many audience members remarked that this was the best production of “Annie” that they had ever seen…

Several excellent suggestions for future production team ideas have surfaced and need to be discussed.  It was also noted that our productions do not always have to be musicals and, since our challenge is always to find a director for productions (thank you very much, Susan Calnin!) this is perhaps a way to encourage more possible directors.  Of course, it is always wonderful to have our summer musical. SO—please join the discussion on August 25, at in the downtown auditorium. This is our newly mandated second general meeting of our year and will mainly discuss our winter production.  PLEASE join us!

Congratulations to Michael Dalberg, the very first ever recipient of the Corey Bobb Scholarship.  Mike is currently enrolled at Parkside as a theater major. We wish him all success in his chosen career!  Stay tuned for further information on the next fundraising event for the Corey Bobb Scholarship which will be announced very soon.

See you on August 25th!

The end (for now)
